Angel Hair with Marinara

we eat really early on thursday nights because dan has to leave for ley street at about 5:15, so i usually try to make easy things. so tonight we had pasta. i tried my hand once again at making my own marinara sauce. this is only second time i've done it. i usually just open a jar and heat it up. however, since we've been here i haven't found a jar sauce that i like. so here's what i did. i sauted some onions and garlic and sugar in a little olive oil over low heat for about 30 minutes until the onions were golden brown. then i added red wine and cooked it for about 1 minute. then in went the canned chopped tomatoes, more garlic, oregano, thyme, basil, and salt. i then simmered that for a couple of hours. it was delicious and the extra is now sitting in my refrigerator waiting to be eaten for another dinner or lunch. here's the recipe

3 cloves garlic, pressed
