Ice Cream Floating in Coffee

yes i also got this recipe idea from the may 2005 issue of delicious. magazine. i'm telling you it was a real winner. i did adapt this one slightly. they used espresso and i used strong coffee, i didn't have any espresso and i also added the tia maria. so here's how it is done. in a small dessert glass or bowl put a scoop of vanilla ice cream and pour hot coffee over it and then a splash of tia maria. serve while it is still hot and melting. can be drunk or eaten with a spoon or a combination of both might be called for.
