Roasted Asparagus Soup

i saw this recipe posted on another blog a week or so ago and i've been dying to try it ever since. so tonight was the night. it was absolutely fantastic. i also made the goat cheese pannini to go with it. the recipe is here at seven spoons. i do not have a blender so i just used a small hand blender. it worked pretty well. my soup was a little chunkier, but still delicious. i also do not have a pannini weight so i just put another frying pan on top and put something heavy in it. it worked great. the sandwich went great with the soup. everyone loved it, except for jodie, who declared that she did not like the green soup. she did however love the sandwich.
